Much like emerging adult artists, there are hundreds of local children who are striving to have the opportunity to explore their creativity and have their ideas and creations displayed publicly. As funding for arts programs continue to shrink in our public schools, Studio 916 has made it our biggest priority to make art lessons free and accessible to children and young adults.
In order to offer the best service to the most children, we must be able to cover the basic costs of materials. Working alone, our studio will not be able to offer free lessons to our communities children; however, if we were to join forces with local citizens to pool together our resources, the level of impact made on our community would be immeasurable.
For just a small donation, you will be able to sponsor a child who is ready to learn and create. The Boston cultural community will know that you are a proud Child Sponsor and Supporter of the Arts. A little bit goes a long way. With your help, Studio 916 will be able to expand our teaching program, offer free art lessons to our children, and enhance creativity and expression.
